1983年9月至1996年3月，在清華大學(xué)環(huán)境工程系攻讀學(xué)位，并獲得了學(xué)士、碩士和博士學(xué)位。本科畢業(yè)獲優(yōu)良畢業(yè)生稱號。曾于1994年5月起被聘為清華大學(xué)講師。1994年5月至1995年6月作為訪問學(xué)者赴法國巴黎里昂水務(wù)集團(tuán)國際水與環(huán)境研究中心從事研究工作。從1987年起，主要研究課題為高負(fù)荷生物接觸氧化污水處理新工藝、污水處理生物穩(wěn)定塘工藝、膜生物反應(yīng)器用于生活污水的處理及中水回用、海水淡化、飲用水處理工藝及水質(zhì)分析等等。
　　1996年4月至當(dāng)年12月，就職于清華紫光集團(tuán)環(huán)境工程公司，期間曾借調(diào)到國家環(huán)保局外經(jīng)辦工作。
　　1996年12月至1997年12月，受聘于澳大利亞首都地區(qū)水電公司（Australian
Captial Territory Electricity and Water Co., Ltd），從事污水回用技術(shù)開發(fā)。
　　1997年12月至1999年4月，獲聘新加坡國立大學(xué)土木工程系研究員，從事海水淡化及污水回用方面的研究。
　　1999年4月至1999年9月，轉(zhuǎn)赴香港大學(xué)土木工程系從事污水處理技術(shù)研究。
　　1999年9月至2002年5月，受邀加入澳門自來水有限公司，擔(dān)任化驗研究中心經(jīng)理。
　　2001年9月至今，兼任澳門自來水公司健康與安全委員會主席
　　2002年6月，擢升為澳門自來水有限公司副總經(jīng)理,全面負(fù)責(zé)原水調(diào)度、水廠生產(chǎn)和自動化、管網(wǎng)調(diào)度、水質(zhì)分析檢驗、生產(chǎn)安全、公司總體規(guī)劃及投資計劃、與有關(guān)政府部門的溝通等等方面的工作。
　　2001至2002學(xué)年，受聘（兼職）為澳門大學(xué)科技學(xué)院研究生開設(shè)"水與廢水處理原理及應(yīng)用"課程（英文授課。注：本人法文讀、說、聽力亦可）。
　　2002年蘇伊士集團(tuán)旨在培訓(xùn)集團(tuán)內(nèi)高級管理人才的"Being A Global Player Program" 成員。
    2008年升任執(zhí)行董事。
